Peter O. Huang's practice focuses primarily on civil litigation, with an emphasis on intellectual property and business litigation. He has experience in all aspects of managing and preparing cases, including intake, discovery, law and motion, trial and appellate work. Mr. Huang has worked on cases involving patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, breach of contract, fraud, employment law, and transactional issues. In addition, he has performed basic transactional work involving items such as non-disclosure agreements and licensing agreements.
Mr. Huang attended the University of California at Berkeley for his undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry. He attended the law school at the University of California, Davis for one year before returning to the University of California at Berkeley to complete his legal education. During law school, he was a member of the California Law Review and received numerous academic awards.
Upon graduation, Mr. Huang was admitted to the California Bar in 1999. He served for a year as a research attorney at the Sonoma County Superior court. Afterwards, he spent four years as an associate at the international law firm of McDermott, Will and Emery in its Palo Alto Office. Mr. Huang has been working with Wang, Hartmann, Gibbs & Cauley since 2005.
